Get Set, Charge, Go: Exploring the UK by Electric MINI

There's never been a better time to hit the road in your MINI Electric. According to recent data from Zapmap, the UK has seen a 45% growth in EV charging points, with over 64,000 charging stations now available at more than 33,000 locations. This means that wherever your MINI takes you—from the scenic roads of the Lake District to the winding paths of the South Downs—you'll always be within easy reach of a charge.

But it gets even better. MINI has partnered with the UK National Parks to bring new charging points to all 15 of these beautiful locations, making it easier than ever to explore the UK's natural gems with zero emissions. Think of it as driving joyfully into the wild while helping to protect it at the same time!

Hit the Road with Confidence: Charging on Every Route

Planning an escape from the city? Whether you’re navigating the charming streets of the Cotswolds or cruising along the rugged coastline of Cornwall, you’ll find plenty of charging options along the way. For example, there are now over 90 charging points within two miles of the main routes leading to the Yorkshire Dales, and over 140 between Glasgow and the Peak District.

Thanks to MINI’s collaboration with UK National Parks, new chargers are popping up at some of the most stunning destinations in the country. This ensures that even the most remote beauty spots are accessible for a sustainable staycation in your MINI Electric.

Goodbye, Range Anxiety. Hello, MINI Freedom!

Worried about running out of juice? You don’t have to be! The days of range anxiety are over, thanks to a growing number of charging stations and apps like Zapmap that help you find chargers wherever you go. Melanie Shufflebotham, Co-founder and COO of Zapmap, assures that with these advancements, “MINI drivers can now explore the UK's hidden gems with confidence, knowing they can easily find a place to power up.”

At Vines MINI, we're not just about getting you from A to B—we're about making the journey as exciting as the destination. Our partnership with UK National Parks is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and our passion for the open road. After all, every MINI is built for fun, and now you can enjoy it knowing you're doing your bit for the planet too!
